Alviana Damit

Alviana Damit has 18 years’ experience at the Forest Research Centre of the Sabah Forestry Department. Her research has taken her deep into Sabah’s wilderness in pursuit of Nepenthes. She holds an MSc in Ecological Processes, focusing on the Nepenthes of Mount Trus Madi, from the Universiti Malaysia Sabah. She has contributed to diverse forestry programmes and leads conservation initiatives dedicated to safeguarding threatened plant species across Sabah.
