Chris Thorogood

Chris Thorogood is an Associate Professor of Biology at the University of Oxford where he holds the position of Deputy Director of the Botanic Garden and Arboretum. His research focuses on biomimetics (technological applications of nature), evolutionary biology in parasitic and carnivorous plant groups (including Nepenthes), and conservation of Rafflesia, the world’s largest flowers, in Southeast Asia.
