Headline: Orchid book launched

Publisher Datuk C.L. Chan (right) with botanist Dudley Clayton and Professor John Beaman, an authority on plants of Kinabalu
with the book which was launched in the Royal Botanic Gardens in London last week. The book on Necklace orchids was authored by Clayton.
The Necklace orchid of the genus coelogyne is represented in Borneo by about 60 species. The highest growing species in the world, coelogynepapillosa, is found only on Mount
Kinabalu between 9,500 and 10,500 feet above sea level.
