Headline: Another New Book launched!

The Traditional Legal System of Sabah was officially launched by YAB Datuk Musa Aman, the Honourable Chief Minister of Sabah, on 30 July 2003. This is the first book documenting the native laws of Sabah, detailing information and practices collected over three decades and throughout the State by Brother
Peter Phelan. Peter Phelan is also author of Traditional Wood and Stone Monuments of Sabah, a monograph also published by the Centre for Borneo Studies of the State-owned Yayasan Sabah in Kota Kinabalu. This important account on the native legal system will be a standard reference on native laws for the years to come.
